GOA CARNIVAL 2010
The Panjim carnival committee and Directorate of Tourism, Panjim will organize ‘Carnival 2010’ from February 13 to 16. The carnival festival will start on February 13 with King Momo and his entourage leading the float parade and will continue till February 16 with a variety of entertainment programmes held at different venues in the city on all 4 days.

INDO EUROPEAN DANCE FESTIVAL
Organized by the Kala Academy will take place on Feb 14 at 6.30pm at the Kala Academy Panjim.

THE BANANA FESTIVAL @ CALANGUTE
The banana festival will commence on 3/Feb/10 and will go on for the next 7 days it is the festival of Lord BABRESWAR (The Protector of The Land), it is all about Lots and lots of bananas! Quite many of stalls selling things that you don't see in other markets.

Exhibition of Contemporary Art
Exhibition of Contemporary Art by Shireen Modi is being held at the Shireen's Art Gallery in Arpora. The exhibition is open to the public till April 15, 2010.

BOOK EXHIBITION
A Book Exhibition is being held from 25th to 31st Jan at Gomant Vidya Niketan in Margao from 10:00am onwards. Many book publishers will participate in this exhibition and books on various subjects will be made available at concessional rates
